Philosophy
My goal is to provide a photojournalistic approach that is polite, unobtrusive and will document the emotions and activities of your wedding day. It's my opinion that a photojournalistic style allows me to best capture the personalities and spirit of the couple I am photographing.
A wedding is a life event like no other. I approach a wedding with the vision of capturing emotions and my images will tell the story of your wedding day. I begin the day by recording the bride & groom in preparation for their day and take various photos of all of the elements that go in to making your day uniquely yours. My photographic style is (I think) a balanced combination of photojournalism, documentary and traditional photos.
As your wedding day events unfold, my photographic needs will not overshadow or intrude on the natural flow of the day. Distractions with the wedding party are kept to a minimum. This day is about the wedding, not the wedding photographer. As I go about photographing your wedding day and I need to interact with people, it is done within the spirit of the day. You will find my photojournalistic style throughout the ceremony and reception events.
When the day is done, what remains are memories and the photographs. It is my hope that when you view the images of your wedding, you are reminded of the wonderful times and emotions that you, your family and friends experienced on your wedding day. You will always have an account of your wedding day story to view again and again. All images are printed on professional quality photo paper that will last a lifetime.
I photograph weddings in Dallas, Fort Worth and surrounding areas.
